Montessori 3–6 Primary Course

Early Childhood Education Training

The Montessori 3–6 Course is a foundational teacher-training program focused on the most crucial period of a child’s development—the early years. Designed on the scientific philosophy of Dr. Maria Montessori, this course prepares educators to work with children during the stage of the Absorbent Mind, when learning happens naturally, effortlessly, and joyfully.

Essence of the Course

Between the ages of 3 and 6, children build the base for their personality, intelligence, movement, language, and social behaviour. This stage is driven by strong sensory exploration, independence, concentration, and order.

The course helps trainees deeply understand:

  • How children naturally learn through movement and senses
  • The importance of freedom with limits
  • The role of environment in shaping intelligence and behaviour
  • How to nurture independence, confidence, and self-discipline

The true essence of the 3–6 Montessori approach lies in helping the child do things for themselves and supporting holistic, natural development.

Content of the Course

The training offers both theoretical understanding and hands-on method work across five core Montessori areas:

  • Montessori Philosophy & Child Psychology (3–6 years)
  • Practical Life – care of self, environment, grace and courtesy
  • Sensorial – refining the senses and building perception
  • Language – phonetics, vocabulary, reading and writing
  • Mathematics – numbers, quantities, operations through concrete material
  • Cultural Studies – geography, science, nature, and community awareness
  • Art & Craft and Creative Development
  • Observation & Classroom Management
  • Material Making & Demonstrations
  • Teaching Practice & Internships
